Hand-Drawn Animation Studies

For this project, I decided to study hand-drawn animation because it’s a skill I’ve always wanted to learn. I started by referencing the Animator’s Survival Kit by Richard Williams. I started with walk cycles, then worked my way down to hair studies. At the beginning, I was just studying the images and struggling to think about the overall motion. Once I got to hair, I finally faced the motion head-on and was able to hone in on my skills and be successful with help from my instructor.
